Beyond Radio presenters Phill Hayward and Paul Fisher have hosted Q&As with stars of film and television at a brand new festival in Morecambe.
The Morecambe Film and TV Festival ran from November 8 to 15 and included appearances by the cast of The Bay TV series, Johnny Vegas and acclaimed writer and comedian Peter Richardson.
Phill, from the Beyond Radio weekday Morning Show and Guess the Local Year on Sundays, hosted the Q&A with The Bay cast on Friday November 8.
He also asked the questions for the Q&A with Richardson - founder and star of The Comic Strip Presents... and Vegas, who starred in the 'Red Top' episode - on Friday November 15.
Both events were held at Reel Cinema in Morecambe. The November 8 event included a screening of the first episode of the new series of The Bay (soon to be shown on ITV1), while on November 15 the audience saw classic The Comic Strip Presents episodes which were on Channel 4 during the alternative comedy explosion in the 1980s.
"It was great to host these events for the Morecambe Film Festival," said Phill.
"After the showing of The Bay Series 5 first episode premiere, the attending cast members from The Bay took questions from a very knowledgeable audience.
"There was again a very knowledgeable crowd on Friday with some great questions for Peter and Johnny."

Paul, co-host of The Fishy and Foggy Show on Tuesdays and of our monthly Decadent Airwaves poetry show, hosted 'An Ideal Night Out' with actor and comedian Johnny Vegas, sitcom writer Graham Duff and producer Gill Isles.
This event, focussed on the sitcom 'Ideal' starring Vegas, was held at Johnny's Warehouse Bar in Morecambe on Thursday, November 14.
"it was a privilege to be able to ask questions of the people who brought the wonderful 'Ideal' to our TV screens for seven series in the 1990s," said Paul.
"They were a lovely bunch and it was really interesting to hear the stories surrounding the production.
"A mega shout out to our very own Matt Panesh who organised the night and the festival."
Here is Matt, poet, performer and festival promoter, with Peter Richardson.
Matt also co-hosts Decadent Airwaves with Paul Fisher and founded the West End Playhouse in Morecambe.
He said: "I'm over the moon with how that went, we had two sell out shows with The Bay and with An IDEAL night out.
"And to have Peter Richardson, in my eyes, a living legend - The Comic Strip were my generation's Monty Python - was a perfect capper.
"We also showed a rough cut of our own film, Henry V, and are getting ready to produce more films for next year.
"The wonderful thing about Morecambe is that people, when they come, want to come back. And both Johnny and Peter have said they'd like to return next year. So for me as a producer, it doesn't get any better!
"OK, I could always do with more sponsors, but this has been a perfect first festival."
