VIDEO: Beyond Radio joins Star Wars-themed charity fell walk

MAY THE FUR BE WITH YOU! Beyond Radio presenter Phil McGrath, dressed as a Star Wars stormtrooper, with Jedi Beyond Bear!

Beyond Radio presenters have taken part in a Star Wars-themed charity fell walk - not that long ago, in a place not too far away!

Phil McGrath, host of The Quick Draw Radio Show, was the driving 'Force' behind the walk up Nicky Nook on Tuesday to raise awareness of World Cancer Day and Citizens Advice North Lancashire.

Phil, in full Star Wars Imperial stormtrooper outfit, was joined by Beyond Radio's Duncan Moore who was dressed as the Jedi master Obi-Wan Kenobi!

Phil's wife Diane, colleagues at the Citizens Advice office in Lancaster where he works, Beyond Radio's Luke Edmondson and Roy Ward were also part of the intrepid team.

And Beyond Bear made an appearance too, as a Jedi!

As they finished the walk, the Force was definitely strong - and so was the wind and rain!

WATCH as Phil 'Stormtrooper' McGrath is welcomed by a guard of honour of 'Jedis' wielding Star Wars lightsabers.

Nicky Nook is a small picturesque fell of 214 metres looking over the village of Scorton, and is popular with walkers and climbers.

Phil, who hosts The Quick Draw Radio Show on Monday evenings, wanted to do the walk as part of his 60 Before 60 Challenge.

He is taking on challenges on his 'bucket list' while battling lung cancer.

Phil (below) originally aimed to complete 60 of them before his 60th birthday in April - and has already exceeded his target.
