A ladies fashion store in Lancaster city centre is celebrating three nominations at a prestigious awards ceremony in London.

Renes in Lancaster was nominated for Fashion Independent of the Year, Store Design of the Year and Independent Employer of the Year at the Boutique magazine Star Awards.

The ceremony was held on Friday at the Mayfair Hotel in London.

The Common Garden Street store secured a runner-up commendation in the highly competitive category of Fashion Independent of the Year.

“We are delighted that our business in Lancaster has been nominated by a panel of our industry peers from across the country," said Tiffany Moore, owner of Renes.

"The Renes team works hard every day to ensure our customers have a memorable shopping experience, so it really means a lot to us to receive this recognition, especially as we approach our 70th year on the Lancaster high street.”

In 2023, Renes was crowned Outstanding Business of the Year at the Boutique Star Awards.

The women's designer clothes shop (pictured below, image from Renes Fashion Facebook page) sells a wide range of clothing, accessories and homeware, and was established in 1955 by Irene Newby along with her daughter Pamela.
