
Four fire engines were called to a fire in a derelict building in an alley in Lancaster.
The fire engines from Lancaster, Morecambe, Bolton le Sands and Carnforth were called at 2.50pm on Monday to Sugar House Alley.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service said: "The fire involved the ground floor of a derelict building consisting of two floors and approximately 30m by 10m in size.
"Firefighters used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
"Crews were at the scene for approximately 45 minutes."
