
Emergency services were called to a car on fire on the M6 near Lancaster.
The call came at 2.22pm on Saturday to the fire on the M6 southbound between Junction 33 at Galgate and Junction 32 at Preston.
Four fire engines from Lancaster, Fulwood and Leyland were at the scene.
"Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used one hose reel jet and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire," said a spokesperson for Lancashire Fire and Rescue.
There were traffic delays on the M6 on Saturday following the incident.
