Fire crews have rescued a dog stuck in mud near the River Lune in Lancaster.
Emergency services were called to the riverbank at St George's Quay at 8.08pm on Wednesday.
Two fire engines from Lancaster, one fire engine from Morecambe, and the air support unit went to the scene.
"Two fire service swift water rescue technicians used one 10.5 metre ladder, two inflatable walkways, and a large animal rescue kit to successfully rescue the dog," said a Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson.
"Firefighters were at the scene for approximately one hour."
