
Fire crews tackled a domestic blaze in Lancaster yesterday afternoon.
They received a call just before 2:45pm and three appliances from Lancaster and Morecambe attended the incident, at an address on Long Marsh Lane.
The incident involved a fire in a domestic property.
Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used two hose reel jets, one triple extension ladder and one door ram to extinguish the fire.
They also rescued one cat from the property.
Crews were in attendance for approximately two hours and twenty minutes.
