A lorry driver had to be rescued after a lorry overturned on the Bay Gateway last night.
The vehicle overturned at the Slyne roundabout, with emergency services called to the scene at around 7:45pm (August 29).
Four fire engines from Morecambe, Bolton-le-Sands, Bamber Bridge, and Chorley attended.
Firefighters used a triple extension ladder, hearth kit, thermal imaging camera, and absorbent pads to remove the driver from the vehicle and make the scene safe.
Crews were detained for approximately forty minutes.
