A Morecambe pub boss has launched a Christmas toy appeal as a thank you to the hospital staff who helped save his life.
Chris Berry, landlord at the King's Arms, spoke to Beyond Radio about how well he was treated by the Royal Lancaster Infirmary (RLI) after he suffered a heart attack two weeks ago.
So Chris and his partner Zoe Read will be donating toys to the RLI children's ward this Christmas and are hoping customers will support them in their appeal.

"I've just been in hospital and they were great, the guys down there, who looked after me, I couldn't fault anything they did, and that's why I'm still here," said Chris.
"I had a heart attack two weeks ago. They did everything possible they could, then got me straight to the cardiac centre at Blackpool where I went straight into theatre.
"The staff looked after me so we're doing this toy appeal.
"There are going to be children in hospital. They're not going to get spoilt as much, there's a lot less money around this time of year because of all the increase of bills. So we'd like to do something as a thank you from ourselves, from the pub and from me."
Chris and Zoe are asking for donations of new toys, to be dropped off at the Marine Road Central pub during opening hours.
"It could be a jigsaw, a £5 toy or a £10 toy, whatever people can afford," said Chris.
"Or if they just want to donate a couple of pounds at the pub, we will go out and buy toys ourselves.
"Just pop in and say hello, drop a toy off, drop a couple of quid off. It will all be much appreciated."
Chris also thanked all the pub's regular customers and friends who had sent him 'Get Well' cards.
