A scooter weekend in Morecambe has been hailed as a great success and has raised £2,500 for local charities.
The Morecambe Rides Again scooter rally, held from July 15 to 17, saw hundreds of scooter enthusiasts descend on the town for a weekend of live music.
Organisers announced that the event raised £1,250 each for St John's Hospice in Lancaster and A Breath for Life, a Middleton-based charity dedicated to providing oxygen therapy for severely injured people.
