Plans for 59 new homes on part of the former Royal Albert Hospital site in Lancaster have been recommended for approval when they go before the council tomorrow (Monday).
The plans for the site off Ashton Road are for split level accommodation, to tackle the steep slope on the land.
Planning officers are recommending approval, with various conditions, including the developer paying for six secondary school places; money for changing facilities at Royal Albert playing fields, cash for road or sustainable travel work, and an on-site play area.
Councillors on Lancaster City Council’s planning committee will look at the proposals at their latest meeting on Monday.
