Hundreds of people took part in an annual dip in Morecambe Bay to raise funds for a Lancaster hospice.
The Morecambe Bay Dip was held on New Year's Day from the slipway near the town's lifeboat station on the Promenade.
Dippers, many in fancy dress, either braved the chilly waters for a splash about or took part in a 500m swim.
The event was held to raise money for St John's Hospice.
Here are photos from the hospice's Facebook page.
