Members of the public have been invited on a 'Wonder Walk' around the site of the planned Eden Project Morecambe.
People can go along to learn about the plans for the new £100m attraction on Tuesday July 2 from 6pm to 7.30pm.
You can walk around the site on Morecambe's central Promenade, discover some of Eden's plans and explore any concerns that you have about the project.
This trip is open to people who are 16+ years old. The event is free but please book to secure your place.
The meeting point is at The Bay: A Blueprint for Recovery community hub in the Arndale Centre, Morecambe.
Eden Project Morecambe will be situated on the central promenade of Morecambe, on the former site of the Bubbles leisure complex, Morecambe Dome and Super Swimming Stadium (see below).
The project will cost £100m, £50m of which has been secured from the UK Government’s Levelling Up Fund.
The remaining £50m will be sourced from private and philanthropic funds.
Construction is due to begin this year (2024) and the project is due to open for small-scale community-focussed test events in 2026 with a full opening in Spring 2027.
