
Two people were rescued by the fire service after they fell down a steep embankment in Lancaster.
Six fire engines including an aerial ladder platform and Urban Search and Rescue went to the incident at Lancaster Road, Lancaster after a call out at 12.55am on Sunday.
Fire crews used a basket stretcher, rope pack, lighting and small tools to rescue the two people, who were then passed into the care of ambulance crews.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service said their team was at the scene for approximately one hour.
