A foodbank volunteer from Lancaster sang her way towards a £100,000 head-to-head with a legendary quiz brain on hit ITV show 'The Chase'.
Rosie Lyon was the last player standing in the teatime quiz show, but came agonisingly short of winning a jackpot cash prize in a battle with 'The Dark Destroyer' Shaun Wallace.
Rosie appeared on Thursday's episode of Britain's most popular quiz game show, hosted by Bradley Walsh.
In The Chase, four players have to work together in an effort to beat a 'Chaser', one of the UK's leading general knowledge experts.
After the Chaser eliminated her three team mates, Rosie answered two questions correctly to win £2000 in the cash builder round, and then gambled on accepting Shaun's £100,000 offer.
Rosie then survived a 'one question shootout' with the former Mastermind champion, after correctly answering that the sacrum and coccyx are part of the pelvis, giving her the chance to play for the £100K.
She then set a target of 11 in the Final Chase, only for Wallace to reach it with 51 seconds to spare.
Earlier in the show, Rosie impressed Bradley Walsh with her singing skills, after revealing that she liked to play cello and guitar, and is also in a choir.
She sang, in a blues style: "Well I woke up this morning, The Chase is blowing my mind, so when I stand before you, Dark Destroyer please be kind!"

Speaking about The Olive Branch foodbank in Lancaster where she volunteers, she told the host: "I've been doing it about a year and I really enjoy it.
"It's tough and different from anything else I've done before. The people I work with are great."
She said if she'd won the money, she'd have put it towards a trip to Namibia.
"I'm a bit of a traveller, I sold my house and my car not long ago and went round the world on my own (for 11 months).
"I woke up at 65 and I thought, I don't want to wake up in 10 years and wonder where the last 10 years have gone."
At the end of the show, Bradley Walsh told her: "Keep up the fantastic work you are doing in Lancaster."
Shaun said Rosie had been an "absolutely fantastic" contestant.
