Woman misses flight after Lancaster public order incident

A woman missed her flight after being detained by British Transport Police at Lancaster.

They were called to reports a 24-yr old woman had repeatedly swore at shop staff.

As officers went to speak to her she tried to run off.

She was arrested for a public order offence, which was finalised by what’s known as Community Resolution, in the form of a written apology.

By the time the process had been completed, the woman subsequently missed her flight from Manchester Airport.
