A fans' forum where Morecambe FC supporters can ask questions to the board will take place amid the continued unrest over the ongoing sale of the club.
The forum will be held at the Mazuma Mobile Stadium at 7pm on Thursday, January 2.
Members of the club's board of directors and key club leadership will be there to discuss a range of questions from fans.
Questions can be pre-submitted or asked in-person on the night.
The forum will be recorded and published on the club’s website.
"We understand and share everyone’s frustrations regarding the prolonged sale process," said a statement from the board.
The board said they will be introducing an ongoing communication plan "to foster regular and constructive interaction with all Shrimps fans".
They said this will include regular updates on the sale process and other important matters, the first of which will be published at the beginning of February, a month after the forum.
There will also be bi-monthly updates from Rob Smith, the club's general manager, on Morecambe FC's operational progress and plans.
A monthly Q&A will be held with the Shrimps supporters' Trust and another fans forum will be held at the end of the season.
The board said that fans can submit questions, share ideas, or express concerns directly to the club at any time, via the Support Liaison Officer at SLO@MorecambeFC.com, for more effective and comprehensive responses than it is possible to provide via individual social media platforms.
"These initiatives, along with regular club communications and involvement in (Shrimps) Trust podcasts and other media, aim to ensure we engage with and listen to and engage with as many fans as possible in a way that is inclusive and accessible to all, regardless of any challenges or frustrations," they said.
"Thank you to every single one of you for your support, it is never, ever taken for granted."
You can book your place on the fans' forum here.
Morecambe FC has been up for sale since September 2022 and fans have long been calling for the sale process to be completed to bring new finance and stability to the club, which is currently bottom of League Two.
The club is owned by Bond Group Investments, whose sole director is Jason Whittingham.
