Morecambe to travel to Walsall on opening day of the season

Morecambe will begin their 2024/25 Sky Bet EFL League Two campaign with a trip to Walsall.

The fixtures for the upcoming season have been released this morning, with the Shrimps set to visit the Poundland Bescot Stadium on Saturday, August 10.

Other highlights include festive fixtures against Carlisle (away) on Boxing Day, Salford City (away) on December 29, and Tranmere Rovers (home) on New Year’s Day.

Easter sees Derek Adams’ men travel to Bromley on Good Friday and host Salford City on Easter Monday.

Harrogate Town are Morecambe’s final opponents of the season, with a home fixture on Saturday, May 3.
