A pool hot-shot from Morecambe has become a world champion after potting the winning ball for the England women's team.
Megan Proctor made the decisive clearance to help England Ladies beat France 8-6 in the WEPF (World Eightball Pool Federation) World Championships team final on Wednesday.
The world championships brought together some of the best players on the 8-ball circuit to the Grand Hotel in Blackpool, with Megan and her England colleagues triumphing against a field including teams from Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Wales.
She kept her cool in the two-table format to clear all seven yellow balls and the black in one visit, before celebrating with her team-mates.
Megan, 27, said: "To win the world final was unbelievable. I think you can tell from the photo and video that it was a great moment!"

Megan first started playing at the age of 12 in local pubs, going on to play for the Megazone in the Morecambe and District Pool League, and won the Morecambe women's singles title at the age of 14.
After a few years' break from the sport, she picked up the cue again in 2019 and has never looked back, becoming one of the best players in the country.
She played for the England team that finished runner-up in the European Team Championships in 2023, and earlier this year in singles, she reached the finals of two Ultimate Pool Tour events after beating former world champions.
Megan also reached the doubles semi-finals at the world championships with playing partner Sarah Wait.
