A classic musical about everyone's favourite little orphan will be very much a tale of two Annies when it arrives in Lancaster.
Abi Jones and Mya Tomlinson are both preparing to play the title role in 'Annie' at the Lancaster Grand, running from February 25 to March 1.
Abi and Mya will share the role of the little girl who is on a journey to find her parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of an orphanage run by the cruel and embittered Miss Hannigan.
It's a classic tale of heartwarming discovery and some unlikely friendships on the way, producing the perfect family-friendly musical.
Abi and Mya, from Morecambe Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society (MAODS), both visited the Beyond Radio studio ahead of the show, alongside Mark Elliot who plays Oliver Warbucks, and director/choreographer Sophie Butler.

Abi, 12, will play 'Annie' on the Wednesday, Friday and Saturday evening and 14-year-old Mya will play the role on the Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday matinee.
Sophie has taught both girls at her Sophie's Academy of Musical Theatre in Morecambe since they were aged six and seven.
"Not only are they two of the most talented, hard-working girls I've ever met, they're just really kind and absorb everything that this should be about. I'm just really proud of both of them," she said.
Mark said: "For me, the abslolute joy is getting to perform with these two. I honestly think that in years to come, I'll be bragging that I was on stage with them, because I think they're going to go on and do brilliant things, because they're fabulous."
The show includes memorable songs including 'Easy Street', 'It's the Hard-Knock Life' and 'Tomorrow'.
