An operatic society will mark its 40th birthday with a Gilbert and Sullivan classic.
Hornby Occasionals will perform 'Yeomen of the Guard' from March 29 to April 1 at the Hornby Institute.
What originally started out with a small group of friends meeting to perform a ‘one off’ show for local villagers has now become a popular annual event with the Occasionals performing a Gilbert and Sullivan operetta each Spring in the Institute.
This year to celebrate their 40th anniversary they have chosen one of the best and most popular operettas from the Gilbert and Sullivan cannon.
Tickets can be bought from the Hornby Institute. Call 01524 222227.
