A brand new original play by a Lancaster theatre group set in a railway station is set to premiere in the city - and it's full of mystery, intrigue and suspense.
In 'The Waiting Room' at the Lancaster Grand, a group of strangers find themselves in a deserted railway station waiting room, initially believing it to be just another stop on their journeys.
As they settle in and wait for a train that never arrives, they soon realise something unsettling – none of them can remember where they’re going or where they’ve come from.
As tensions rise and the atmosphere in the room becomes more oppressive, memories and secrets begin to surface.
Director and writer Kris Williams, and cast members Martin Cash and Zoe Hopkins from the Lancaster Footlights visited our studio to talk about what audiences might expect from the mysterious play. It's fair to say they kept their cards close to their chests!
