Carols by Candlelight at the Ashton Memorial

Join Outreach Opera for a beautiful concert of popular opera arias and duets, along with an array of magical Christmas carols.

Lancaster's Music In The City

Sunday, December 15

By Lancaster BID, with help from Lancaster Music Festival, in a packed programme of acts. Look out for a wide range of music with singers, bands and all kinds of genres, at venues including Marketgate and St Nics Arcades shopping centres, and on the Market Square plinth.

West End Carol Service

Sunday December 15, 4pm, The Parish Church of St Barnabas, Regent Road, Morecambe.

Christmas Concert

Monday, December 16, 1:30pm, Priory Church, Lancaster

Performed by the Marsh Community Choir.

Gladly Solemn Sound Christmas Concert

Wednesday, December 18, 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm, Gregson Centre

Join the Gregson’s longest running community choir for their annual Christmas concert!

Raising money for Double Joy Orphanage in Kenya, they will be singing Christmassy songs, mostly from the 18th/19th century.

Beer and Carols

Friday December 21, Lancaster Priory, bar open from 6:30pm

Celebrate the spirit of Christmas with this sing-a-long, including popular seasonal and classic festive movie songs.

Christmas Characters in the City

Sunday December 22

Christmas Characters in the City will feature special appearances by The Grinch, winter goblins and a larger than life Elf on the Shelf!

A special Santa's Grotto on a Stagecoach bus will also be open in Lancaster city centre during selected Sundays in December.

Lancaster & Morecambe College 12 Days of LMC Christmas Campaign

The college will be choosing a different charity or organisation for each day, to spread awareness and help them out over the festive period with what they might need. Charities include the Morecambe Foodbank, Lancaster Homeless Centre, Safenet, CRY, Animal Care and more.
