Our Halloween What's On Guide includes Strictly Come Dancing star and 'Meet Beetlejuice'

A DJ set by a star of Strictly Come Dancing and a chance to meet 'Beetlejuice' are just two of the many Halloween events announced this year for the Lancaster and Morecambe area.

Karim Zeroual will DJ at a Halloween party at Shore Thing on Marine Road Central in Morecambe on Saturday October 26 from 7pm.

The fancy dress Halloween party runs from 7pm until midnight and also includes a set from DJ Jim's Brim. Admission is free.

Karim (pictured below with Shore Thing owner Ryan Wallace) began presenting on CBBC in 2014, finished runner-up in the TV dance competition Strictly Come Dancing in 2019 and has toured in Madagascar the Musical playing the lead role of King Julien.

Here are some of the other Halloween events announced so far in the Lancaster and Morecambe area.

Fundraiser Chris Dickson (below) will once again be opening up his home at 80 South Road, Morecambe, to raise money for CancerCare.

This year Chris' home-made giant Halloween garden display will include the chance to meet Beetlejuice!

The display will be open on Wednesday October 30 and Thursday October 31 from 5.30pm. Food will be available on October 31 with BB's Snack Bar.

Samba Espirito, local samba drumming group, will hold their annual 'Espirito of the Dead' parade through Lancaster city centre on Saturday October 26 from 6pm to 7pm.

The parade will start outside Marks and Spencer on Penny Street then head down Market Street, New Street and Church Street before finishing at Horseshoe Corner.

Look out too for the Lancaster Ghostbusters (below) who will be on patrol!

Spooky tours of Lancaster will take place from October 26 to November 2, led by Lancaster Walks, Talks and Tours.

Los Banditos, the new Latin American-themed cocktail bar and restaurant on Church Street in Lancaster, will be holding a themed night on October 31 with Halloween fancy dress.

A special Halloween Special Blood Moon rock night will be held at The Bobbin in Lancaster on October 31. 

There will be rock, metal, Emo, spooky tunes, pop-punk and nu metal with DJs Dec and Sheldon from 9pm until close.

Horror author AS Chambers will tell ghostly tales and anecdotes, and have copies of his book available, at a night of haunted happenings at Pure Vegan cafe on Thurnham Street in Lancaster on October 31, from 5pm to 9pm.

Halloween Children's Trail at Judges' Lodgings Museum, Lancaster - Explore one of the oldest townhouses in Lancaster this spooky season and see if you can find all twelve of the creepy but cute characters hiding around the museum, then claim your chocolate treat at the end. Thursday October 31 to Sunday November 3, 11am to 4pm.

Escape Events will host the first music night at the new Warehouse venue on Marine Road Central in Morecambe on November 2.

The Haunted House 8 dance music event will feature DJs Morgan Seatree, Matt Thiss, Summer J, Michael Conroy, Chester and more.
