This free to enter event includes Star Wars, sci-fi, superhero, and Ghostbuster characters & costumers, cosplay, and mascot meet & greets with Pikachu, Mario/Yoshi, Sonic, Tails, Winnie the Pooh & Lego Batman. Plus, stalls selling Comic Con merchandise and more.

Morecambe Maritime Festival
Saturday August 24, various venues, Morecambe seafront
An event to celebrate the town's bay and fishing heritage with music, tours, talks, family fun and much more.
The festival will celebrate Morecambe’s proud maritime culture and heritage with performances of sea songs and shanties, and a variety of outdoor activities on Morecambe’s Promenade.
Venues include The Pier, the inshore lifeboat station, The Royal Bar & Shaker, the King's Arms, The Bath, the Clock Tower Cafe, Eric Morecambe Statue and the Winter Gardens.
Escape2Make Green Festival
Saturday August 24, 11am to 4pm, NOTE - change of venue due to bad weather forecast to More Music, Morecambe
Free family festival with a focus on sustainability run by local youth-led charity Escape2Make. Includes theatrical performances, virtual reality experiences and a giant parade with a recycled monster.
AlannaFest
A fabulous family outdoor music festival that raises vital funds for CancerCare. Beyond Radio’s Phill Hayward is your host on the main stage, introducing a range of performers including Ska Face, Jo Fry as Dolly Parton, Andy Creevy, Tom Woods and Mark McKenna, as well as loads to do for the kids including a bouncy castle, rides and stalls, and food and drink.
