HALLOWEEN EVENTS
Fundraiser Chris Dickson will once again be opening up his home at 80 South Road, Morecambe, to raise money for CancerCare. This year Chris' home-made giant Halloween garden display will include the chance to meet Beetlejuice!
The display will be open on Wednesday October 30 and Thursday October 31 from 5.30pm.
Los Banditos, the new Latin American-themed cocktail bar and restaurant on Church Street in Lancaster, will be holding a themed night on October 31 with Halloween fancy dress.
A special Halloween Special Blood Moon rock night will be held at The Bobbin in Lancaster on October 31.
Halloween Children's Trail at Judges' Lodgings Museum, Lancaster - Explore one of the oldest townhouses in Lancaster this spooky season and see if you can find all twelve of the creepy but cute characters hiding around the museum, then claim your chocolate treat at the end. Thursday October 31 to Sunday November 3, 11am to 4pm.
Horror author AS Chambers will tell ghostly tales and anecdotes, and have copies of his book available, at a night of haunted happenings at Pure Vegan cafe on Thurnham Street in Lancaster on October 31, from 5pm to 9pm.
Escape Events will host the first music night at the new Warehouse venue on Marine Road Central in Morecambe on Saturday November 2. The Haunted House 8 dance music event will feature DJs Morgan Seatree, Matt Thiss, Summer J, Michael Conroy, Chester and more. Tickets available from Skiddle.
FIREWORKS DISPLAYS
Vale of Lune - Friday, November 1 from 5pm
Wristbands can be purchased from behind the bar of the club on Powderhouse Lane. Adults are £7, over school age is £5 and under school age go free. Fairground, stalls and a mega display.
Bolton-le-Sands – Saturday, November 2, from 6pm
Music and entertainment, food and drink outlets at the Community Centre on Packet Lane. £7, cash only.
Galgate Bonfire – Saturday, November 2, from 3pm.
Batala Lancaster will playing before the fireworks. The event is at Ellel Village Hall.
Holgates Caravan Parks – Saturday, November 2, 7pm
The annual Bonfire & Firework Display at Holgates Silverdale is located behind the pitch & putt, there will also be takeaway hotdogs and burgers available to buy from the terrace between 5pm and 7pm. No tickets required.
MISS WHALLEY'S FIELD, Lancaster, Tuesday November 5.
Community bonfire and fireworks night. Lantern procession leaves the Gregson Centre at 6.15pm then bonfire lighting at 6.30pm
HEYSHAM VILLAGE FIREWORKS – Wednesday, November 6, displays at 6:30 & 8:30pm
Plus a full fairground, hot food, licensed bar and live entertainment.
MORECAMBE PROMENADE FIREWORKS – Thursday, November 7, displays at 6:30 & 8:30pm
Plus a full fairground, hot food, licensed bar and live entertainment.
Both these events have free entry.
LANCASTER CRICKET CLUB – Saturday November 9, from 5:30pm
Fun, food, live music and only £6 per adult and £4 per child at the club on Lune Road.
GOLDEN BALL AT SNATCHEMS - Saturday November 9
Starts at 5pm. Display around 6.3pm. Food available and live music. Tickets £7 adults and £4 for under 18s.
